Would you like to write for Texture & Space?
I started this blog with the intention of creating a hub of inspiration to highlight a unique range of spaces, places, people, and textures. I enjoy discovering stories from a diverse range of people and want to build on the intention behind this blog by sharing voices other than just my own.
If you have an interest in writing a blog post for Texture & Space, I would love to hear from you.
Blog topics can include (but aren’t limited to) anything related to home, interiors, exteriors, architecture, materials and fabrics. As long as your chosen topic links back to textures and/or spaces, then it belongs here. Personal stories are always well received, and I am open to a variety of styles, from poetry and prose, to short stories and long reads.

Whilst this isn’t a paid opportunity, this is an open call to anyone that has an interest in writing – it doesn’t matter how much experience you have, your unique voice is what matters.
This is an opportunity for you to try your hand at writing a blog for the first time in a way that might not feel so scary, or for you to express an opinion to my small but interested audience. If you are a blogger or a brand, it’s a chance to engage in some outreach. In return from me, I will:
- Help you narrow down your topic and give suggestions if requested
- Proof and edit your post before it goes live
- Provide constructive feedback if requested
- Facilitate a safe place for you to share your writing
